Tickets in practice
Using the dashboard
The Docket dashboard is where you configure your server, manage ticket types, and review closed ticket history — all without leaving your browser.
Accessing the dashboard
Sign in with your Discord account using the "Sign in" button at the top right of the site. After logging in, the Guilds page lists every server where you are the owner or hold administrator permissions and Docket is installed.
Only servers where Docket is already installed appear on the Guilds page. If you don't see a server, invite the bot first.
Overview tab
The Overview tab gives you a live snapshot of your ticket system at a glance.
Stat cards
- Ticket types — Total number of configured categories
- Open tickets — Tickets currently active in your server
- Closed tickets — Tickets with a resolved, closed, or cancelled status
Ticket types list
Shows all configured ticket categories with their names and descriptions. Click "Manage →" to jump directly to the Ticket types tab.
Recent activity
The last 8 tickets across all types, showing the ticket ID, reason, current status badge, and relative time. Click "View transcripts →" to browse the full history.
Ticket types tab
Create, edit, and delete the categories users can choose when opening a ticket. Each type has its own channel, role, number format, and welcome message.
Changes to a ticket type only affect new tickets — existing open tickets keep their original configuration.
Transcripts tab
Displays every closed ticket for your server, sorted oldest to newest. Each row shows the ticket ID, the reason the user gave when opening, and how long ago it was closed.
- Click any row to open the transcript viewer inline
- Use "Open in new tab" to view the full transcript at its own URL
- Transcript URLs follow the pattern
tickets.noyralabs.com/view/{id}
Settings tab
Configure server-wide defaults: the notification channel, global staff role, default ticket channel, and feedback collection. All fields save individually — there is no "Save all" button.
Administrator or server owner permission is required to view and change settings. Other members see a read-only message.
