Terms of Service

1. The service

Docket provides a Discord ticket-management bot and a web dashboard that allows server administrators to configure ticket types, manage tickets, and access closed-ticket transcripts. Use of the service is subject to these terms and Discord's own Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Docket, in line with Discord's minimum age requirement. You must hold the Discord server owner role or the Discord Administrator permission in a guild to configure Docket for that guild. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

3. Required permissions

The Docket bot requires the following Discord permissions to function correctly:

• Manage Threads — to create and archive private ticket threads
• Send Messages — to post ticket embeds, notifications, and panel buttons
• Manage Roles — to add members to ticket threads by role

Granting permissions beyond those listed is at your discretion. Nøyra Labs is not responsible for misconfigured server permissions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Docket to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other Discord users
• Circumvent Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Generate spam, unsolicited messages, or fraudulent tickets
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Docket service
• Store or process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction

We reserve the right to remove the bot from any server or suspend dashboard access for any server found violating these terms, without prior notice.

5. Data and content ownership

Ticket content, reasons, and transcripts created in your server remain your property. By using Docket, you grant Nøyra Labs a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that ticket content created in your server complies with applicable laws and Discord's policies.

6. Service availability

Docket is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes that temporarily affect the service. We will make reasonable efforts to announce planned downtime in the Nøyra support server.

Premium plan features carry separate service commitments and uptime expectations communicated at the time of subscription.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Docket is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nøyra Labs does not warrant that the service will be error-free or that transcripts will be generated successfully for every ticket closure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nøyra Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Docket, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using Docket at any time by removing the bot from your server and signing out of the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for any server that violates these terms.

On termination, you may request deletion of your guild's stored data by contacting us. We will process such requests within 30 days.

If Nøyra Labs ceases to operate the Docket service permanently, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected server administrators in advance and provide a window during which you may request an export or deletion of your guild's stored data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the effective date when we do. Continued use of Docket after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
